For golf enthusiasts there is an 18-hole golf course right next to the Längsee, ideally situated just a 10-minute drive from the Blumenhotel. In winter, attractions include ice-skating, the Christmas market and winter sports.

Castles and palaces set against a picturesque backdrop provide perfect daytrip destinations for tourists. St. Veit is also the ideal starting point for trips within Carinthia, or further afield to Italy or Slovenia.

Since 2009 Helen Hopkins is now the new head pro at the Jacques Lemans Golfclub St.Veit-Längsee. She offers superior quality golf teaching. Helen Hopkins is a member of both the Australian and the Austrian PGA and a member of the Australian Ladies Golf Tour as well as the Ladies European Tour.

Hiking & walking::

The natural and cultural diversity of the region is reflected in the approx. 40 hiking and circular trails, some unmarked, around St. Veit, Liebenfels and Frauenstein. Different themes, lengths and difficulty levels mean there is something to suit everyone, from a demanding hikes through to leisurely walks.
